Beep To Boom

Book cover Beep To Boom is published by Routledge in New York and London and available from most book stores and online book sellers. The hardback edition has been produced specifically for libraries and is consequently costly - paperback and ebook versions are also available, though still quite expensive, but discounts are available especially if you join the publisher's mailing list. The publication date is staggered by a few weeks through late February and early March 2019 depending on the edition and store you select. Here are links to some of the retail and online stores where you can get your own copy of the book:

Wherever you find the book, please let other people who might be interested know about it and post a review if you have time to do so.

This is a specialised book which does not fit neatly into any existing niche like psychoacoustics, programming, game, user-interface or sound design - though it is likely to be of interest to people keen on those subjects - so any help you can give to publicise the book will help me justify the 18 months I've spent writing it and improve the chances of similarly in-depth books about the creation and development of interactive media being commissioned.

Updates, February 18 2019

Here's my Amazon author page with details of talks I'm giving about this book, and other things I've written. Also, Routledge have just released a Q&A interview about how Beep to Boom came to be written - click here to read it.
