WELCOME TO INGO'S HOME PAGE!
This is the ninth update of this site since Ingo was born on 22nd February 2000. It's now December 2009. While we wait for Ingo to learn to update these pages himself, here's a song he wrote and recorded with his dad and his two favourite soft toys, Nippy And Fishy (2.3Mb stereo MP3 audio file). Ingo plays the drums and keyboards and sings the story, with interjections from the furry crab and fish themselves, while Simon contributes basic bass and guitar. This was recorded in the front room at 49 Hill Street during February.
Ingo has also made a short animated movie - at Wychwood Festival near Cheltenham in May 2009.
Nippy Shoe Car (8.8Mb QuickTime MOV (Motion JPEG)). It's a simple but amusing plasticine stop-frame animation, 28 seconds long, in which Nippy finds a shoe car and crashes it into a scary can of worms, and was made in about an hour in one of the activity tents at the festival. Ingo and three school-friends made a second one, using the same software (iStopMotion) but at home, in November, starring the real Nippy and a plasticine Poo Monster (5.7Mb QuickTime MOV (H264 codec)).

Winding back to 2007, and back in audio-only, here's an amusing message (1.6Mb mono MP3 audio file) from the boy himself! The early story has been divided into six sections - with more to follow, as ever...
The first part of the revised Ingo website documents
Ingo's birth, and is almost identical to the page originally put
up while he was still in hospital.
Ingo's Arrival
The second part documents some events in the first six months of
Ingo's life. It has a lot more pictures, so it takes a minute or
two to download over a conventional 'phone line (the total size is
about 400K, and only 10K of that is text, including a diary and
news of outings and Ingo's first engagement with the local media).
But the dozen pictures are worth the wait, and if all you want is
the hard news you could disable image loading (or use Lynx ;-) and
get the text alone in a few seconds.
The following update illustrate family trips to the Scilly Isles
and theSeaLife Centre on Ingo's second birthday.
The 2004 update, around 200K in size, includes pictures taken at his
fourth birthday party.
